XRWorld Terms of Service

Effective 2026-11-01

These terms set out the conditions for using the XRWorld service provided by (to be registered) (the "Company") and the rights and duties of the Company and members. If the Korean and English versions differ, the Korean version prevails.

1. Purpose

These terms govern the classroom XR lesson service (the "Service") provided through the website (www.xrworld.org), the teacher PC app, and the student VR app.

2. Definitions

  1. A "member" is a person, mainly a teacher, who signs in with a Google account, agrees to these terms, and uses the Service.
  2. A "student" joins a member's class with a room number and PIN or a teacher code. Students do not create accounts.
  3. A "school" is an educational institution registered to share a school plan or content rights; a "school administrator" is a member who manages its teachers.
  4. "Member content" is photos, videos, 3D models, scenes, and other material a member keeps in their own Google Drive and registers in the Service.
  5. The "library" is content produced by the Company or supplied by vendors and reviewed by the Company.
  6. "Paid services" are services provided for a fee, such as paid plans (Personal, School) and paid library products.

3. Posting and changes

The Company links these terms from the bottom of the Service pages.

The Company may change these terms within the law, announcing the change and its effective date at least 7 days in advance (30 days for changes unfavorable to members) and notifying members by email or similar means.

Members who do not agree may terminate their agreement. Members who do not object before the effective date are deemed to agree (this is stated in the notice).

4. Membership and accounts

  1. Membership is formed by signing in with Google and agreeing to these terms and the Privacy Policy. Passwords are managed by Google; the Company does not store them.
  2. Members must not share or transfer their account. On shared classroom PCs, sign out after class and sign out of Google in the browser.
  3. Persons under 14 may not become members.

5. The Service

  1. Web: registering and editing content, class lists, the library, plans and payment
  2. Teacher PC app: downloading class content to the teacher PC, opening classes on the classroom network, and controlling student devices
  3. Student VR app and student web view: joining classes and viewing a teacher's public material by teacher code
  4. Originals of member content stay in the member's own Google Drive; the Company does not store those files. Library originals are kept in the Company's storage.

Features and what each plan includes are as shown in the Service.

6. Plans and paid services

  1. Plans are Free, Personal, and School. Seats, library access, and prices for each plan are shown on the Membership & billing page.
  2. Paid plans are 1-month or 12-month passes and do not renew automatically. Buying the same plan again extends it from the day after the current period ends.
  3. A School plan is granted to a school. Its administrator may add teachers up to the plan's limit, and members use the plan while they belong to the school.
  4. Buying a paid library product gives the buyer the right to use it within the Service. It does not transfer ownership of any file.
  5. Where a separate contract (quote, invoice, etc.) exists with a school or institution, that contract prevails over these terms.

7. Payment

Fees are paid through the Company's payment provider by card, easy pay, bank transfer, or other offered methods. Prices include VAT. The Company does not store card numbers or other payment credentials.

International payments are shown in US dollars; exchange rates and foreign transaction fees follow the member's card issuer.

8. Withdrawal and refunds

Withdrawal of purchase, mid-term cancellation, and refunds follow the separate Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Member content

  1. Copyright in member content stays with the member or the original rights holder.
  2. Members permit the Company to use member content only as needed to provide the Service (showing lists and thumbnails, sending it to student devices in class, and sharing within the scope the member chooses). This permission ends when the member deletes the content.
  3. Members must hold the necessary rights to content they register or share and must not infringe others' copyright, portrait rights, or personal information.
  4. On receiving a valid infringement notice or where infringement is clear, the Company may restrict the content as required by law.

10. Library terms

  1. Library content may be used only within the Service for teaching.
  2. Library content and copies on teacher PCs and student devices are encrypted. Members must not copy, distribute, or sell it, or disable or circumvent encryption or other technical protection measures.
  3. The Company keeps download and key-issue records to protect rights holders.

11. Students and classes

Students join without accounts; in-class data is processed only on the teacher PC in the classroom and is not stored on the Company's servers. Members must follow applicable law and school policy when registering or sharing material containing students' personal information.

12. Prohibited conduct

  1. Using another person's account or information
  2. Registering or sharing unlawful content or content inappropriate for students
  3. Hacking or disrupting the Service or other users' systems, or accessing the Service by abnormal means
  4. Reselling the Service commercially without the Company's consent

13. Changes and interruptions

The Company may change the Service for operational or technical reasons and will announce material changes unfavorable to members in advance.

The Service may be interrupted for maintenance, failures, or force majeure. If a paid service cannot be used due to the Company's fault, the Company extends the period or refunds accordingly.

If the Company ends the Service, it gives 30 days' notice and refunds remaining paid periods under the Refund Policy.

14. Termination

Members may delete their account at any time from "Delete account" in the dashboard, or request it through Contact or email. On deletion, member and content information stored in the Service is deleted under the Privacy Policy; originals in the member's Google Drive remain the member's.

If a member breaches section 12, the Company may restrict use or terminate the agreement after giving reasons; the member may object.

15. Limitation of liability

Unless at fault, the Company is not liable for losses caused by outages of external services the member uses (such as Google Drive), school network or device conditions, or the content of member material, except where the law provides otherwise.

16. Disputes

The parties will try to resolve disputes in good faith. Otherwise the laws of the Republic of Korea apply and jurisdiction follows the Korean Civil Procedure Act.

Addendum

These terms apply from the effective date.
